Minibus hire pricing isn't one flat number — it depends on distance, group size, luggage and timing. Here's what actually goes into a quote, and how it stacks up against the alternatives.
Get a Fixed-Price QuoteMinibus hire prices vary by route distance, group size, luggage, and pickup time — which is why we quote a fixed price per journey rather than a flat national rate. Our own confirmed prices from Wadhurst range from £115 to Gatwick up to £260 for a Portsmouth port transfer, with a standard £5 pickup/drop-off charge added to every fare.
A useful way to compare cost is to price a single taxi fare for your route and multiply it by however many cars your group would actually need. Most groups of four or more find one minibus works out close to, or cheaper than, that total — without the hassle of coordinating multiple pickups or arriving separately.
Every quote includes a professional, insured driver, door-to-door pickup and drop-off, and space for your group's luggage. The only stated addition is the £5 pickup/drop-off charge — there are no surprise extras added once your fixed price is confirmed.
Pricing is fixed, but availability isn't unlimited — wedding season (May-August), school holidays, and the festive period are our busiest times. Booking early doesn't just protect the price, it protects your preferred date and vehicle.
It depends on the route — our confirmed fixed prices range from £115 for a Gatwick Airport transfer up to £260 for a Portsmouth port transfer, plus a standard £5 pickup/drop-off charge on every booking.
Usually, yes — once you add up several individual taxi or rideshare fares for the same group, one fixed-price minibus booking is often close to or cheaper than the total, without the hassle of coordinating multiple pickups.
No — the only addition to your fixed quote is the standard £5 pickup/drop-off charge. Anything unusual, like extra cleaning, would be discussed and agreed with you directly, never added afterward.
